Bubar’s Construction is a family-owned, small Commercial and Residential General Contractor working in the Tampa Bay area. We are seeking and experienced Project Manager to join the team in the Odessa office. Candidates should be energetic, highly self-motivated individuals who enjoy the challenges of interesting projects while being able to maintain project schedules and profitability with the ability to work with little supervision.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Construction for residential construction projects up to $2 Million in value
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal individuals and external Clients, Subcontractors, and Suppliers
- Existing relationships with Subcontractors
- Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects in various phases of the construction process
Duties:
- Ability to assist with estimating during the Pre-construction phase and meet with the clients and subcontractors for some coordination
- Read and Interpret Construction Plans and Specifications
- Research and recommend resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and errors
- Monitor Project Schedules and produce progress updates
- Participate in weekly Subcontractor meetings as needed
- Act as Superintendent by actively engaging in the Job site progression and assisting with work when necessary
- Assist with the completion of Punch Lists and Close Out Documents
- Proactive marketing the company brand in order to promote new sales
