Job Overview:

Responsible for the implementation of programs geared towards youth development and family self-sufficiency. Duties include reviewing cases and guiding staff on effective assessment and referrals; coordinating all outreach activities that enhance program enrollment; and overseeing the program budget and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Provide daily oversight of program services, monitor workflow and task completion, and provide daily supervision of program staff in the assessment of youth and families, and the appropriate referrals to community organizations for resources.
  • Plan, organize, and administer programs to promote educational, social, cultural, health, recreational, and parent engagement services to youth and families    
  • Develop and implement marketing and recruitment strategy campaigns for program enrollment and participation in workshops, meetings, field trips, out of school time, tutoring, mentoring, and other relevant activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate case management process to identify needs and barriers with assessment tools, development of case plans, and integration of services/activities into case plans
  • Monitor and audit program reporting and budget requirements. Prepare programmatic grant reports, ensure grant compliance, and meet other department deadlines.
  • Review cases and provide feedback to staff. Monitor and evaluate referrals to community providers. 
  • Review case management maintenance of case files in the Tracking At -A -Glance (TAAG) database.
  • On a weekly basis, meet with program staff for coaching and counseling, to discuss emerging project issues, or other performance needs.
  • Perform annual staff evaluations in timely fashion.

Required Qualifications:

Education levelAssociate’s degree in social sciences, business administration, or closely related field.
ExperienceThree (3) years of work experience in human services, case management, or social work.
