We also provide Forensic Accounting/Fraud Examination and Litigation Support services to clients ranging from attorneys, and local small business owners to medium companies nationwide. Due to continued growth, we’re currently seeking a motivated team player with a minimum 4 years of recent quality private business or public accounting experience. Working directly with the firm’s Senior Accountant, and clients in various industries, responsibilities include:
- Gather data for forensic accounting engagements; analyze information by developing spreadsheet reports
- Preprare adjusting journal entries, trial balance, and bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable processing
- Setup Chart of Accounts
- Setup Vendors
- Payroll processing
- Transaction allocations
- Client Interaction
- Financial Statement Preparation
- Tax Preparation
Qualifications:
- Accounting Degree
- Capacity and commitment to work 40 hours a week
- Minimum of 4 years of recent private company or public accounting experience encompassing progressive scope and responsibilities
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, project management, client service, time management and PC skills including Microsoft Office and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks proficiency preferred; Creative Solutions & Fixed Assets software proficiency are a plus)
- Confidence in learning and embracing new technology to solve client issues.
- Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices.
- Commitment to maintain the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data.
- Looking to be promoted to Senior Accountant in One Year.
