LEAD Staffing, located in Tampa, FL is expanding its corporate office staff. After continued year over year business growth we are looking to bring the accounting functions in-house. If you’re comfortable navigating the waters of change and you enjoy rolling your sleeves up in the details, this is your calling. This individual will be an instrumental member of the Accounting Team and will report directly to the VP, Finance and Operations.
This is an On-Site role at our home office near Mid-Town in Tampa, FL.
We are seeking an Experienced Accountant to become part of our team!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Mastery Level of Posting Credits and Debits
- Daily input & management of accounting transactions
- Month end close process including allocations and accruals
- Multi- State Payroll and payroll taxes with ADP
- Balance Sheet reconciliation schedules
- Treasury management (banking)
- Weekly & monthly financial reporting
- Develop and expand influential reporting
- Ad hoc reporting as needed
- Execute & tightly manage a 7 day close cycle
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 2 yrs. experience (preferably) or 5 yrs. of comparable work experience.
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of the following:
- QuickBooks Enterprise
- Multi-entity (class) accounting & reporting
- US GAAP
- MS Excel (Intermediate to Advanced skills)
- Intermediate PowerPoint Skills
- Thrives in a dynamic, ever changing environment
- Intellectually curious, gritty and a love for the details
- Commute into the office daily
Month end close must be performed within 7 business days of each close cycle, including Balance Sheet reconciliation schedules. Annually there is a review and formal financial statement issuance. Experience with auditing a plus.
