Job Responsibilities:
- Handle accounting, and oversee all the financials by preparing quarterly/annual financial reports and managing quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts
- Handle accounts payables and issuing checks
- Knowledge of industry standard accounting software
- Must have extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Ability to recommend new accounting software to transition over to
- Financial Reporting for executives
- Prepare general ledger account analyses and reconcile vendor invoices and payments.
- Perform month-end close tasks, including journal entries, AR and AP reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and accrued and prepaid expenses.
- Analyze business performance results, and providing feedback
- Oversee payments off all accounting; ensuring all accounts are paid on time
- Ensure the accurate preparation/reporting of monthly financial results in accordance with company deadlines
- Able to work well with a team, senior executives, and others.
- Handle budgeting, cash flow, and all things related to banking
- Assist in the monthly close process
- Review schedules with operations and maximizes efficiency.
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- CPA is a Plus!
- Minimum of 8-10 years of accounting experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws and compliance
- Good knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills: experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office
- Excellent Excel Skills is a must!
