You will also be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and month-end closing. You should apply immediately if you’re self-driven and an organized professional. This Bookkeeper role will be located in the Tampa, Florida area and will be a permanent position.
Your responsibilities in this role
– Provide cash flow projections, as needed
– Sort sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
– Keep general ledger updated
– Prepare subcontractor 1099’s, and any other IRS year-end requirement
– Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation
– Assist with monthly accounting close
– Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
– Other unique projects when they come up
– Manage monthly accounting close
– Knowledgeable with Accounts Receivable
– Manage Accounts Payable- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
– Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
– Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
– Solid understanding of Accounting Software Systems
– Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
– Adeptness in Excel Formulas
– Budget Processes experience
– ADP Financial Services experience
– Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
– General familiarity with Microsoft Excel
– Practical knowledge of QuickBooks
– Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel
– Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
– Highly organized and self-motivated
– Sound written and verbal communication skills
– Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
– Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
– Detailed and have the ability work independently
