Your Opportunity

As a Project Controls Lead, you will support our projects, our business operations, and lead a team of project controls professionals. You will apply skills in cost controls, communications, and problem solving in a fast-paced, professional, design and construction environment.

You will work with individual project managers, financial managers and corporate leadership.

Your Key Responsibilities

Project Support

  • Proposal development
  • Schedule development and maintenance
  • Cost control
  • Risk management
  • Forecasting

Business Operations

  • Financial tracking
  • Client, sector, market analysis
  • Regional forecasting
  • Annual budget and business planning 

Team Lead

  • Maintain appropriate staff level for region
  • Interview, onboard, train and develop staff
  • Collaborate with other regions on resourcing
  • Develop and integrate project controls standards and work flow processes

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • High level understanding of project controls
  • Demonstrable skills in the management of project time, cost, estimation
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data to provide concise information to stakeholders
  • Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule.
  • Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.
  • Experience with data management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Primavera 6, Sharepoint, and related software is expected
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Ability to efficiently work independently and proactively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Engineering or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 7 years of project controls or related experience
  • Experience managing a small team preferred 

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
