Duties

  • Design, schedule, and update project timelines.
  • Coordinate resources, schedules, and milestones.
  • Review, understand, and ensure project scope, cost and resource allocation meet expectations.
  • Track, report and monitor timelines
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical issues to offer/develop solutions.
  • Setup client logins, documentation and preparation.
  • Additional duties assigned by supervisor
  • Manage project communication and keep contacts informed.
  • Adhere to project standards, company rules and best practices.
  • Monitor for scope creep and advise when out-of-scope. Handle change request orders as well.
  • Simple dispatch and ticket management.
  • Minimal client and phone interactions

Narrative

A Project Manager possesses a superior understanding and capability to handle various time- and goal-oriented projects across diverse service lines. They are entrusted with the synchronization of resource availability and schedules, and ensuring strict adherence to the project timeline. This role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as transparent communication is fundamental to successful project management.

The role also demands the ability to fulfill client expectations within the agreed project scope. Therefore, a solid grasp and capability to interpret project Statements of Work (SOWs) are essential, enabling the translation of these into corresponding timelines. Superior time management and self-organization skills are mandatory.

Project Managers should not hesitate to engage with clients about potential issues that might lead to project delays or challenges. Besides the general project management tasks, they are also in charge of sorting incoming service ticket requests, implementing relevant agreements, and routing them to the corresponding departments, which includes resource scheduling.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. A Master’s Degree will be a plus.
  2. Certification in Project Management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), is preferred.
  3. Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
  4. Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
  5. Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  6. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.
  7. Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Basecamp or Trello).
  8. Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
  9. Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills along with the ability to work under pressure.
