Job Description:
Assist Manager and Senior Staff Accountant with various accounting, tax, and administrative duties as assigned.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Preparing business, personal, estate, trust and charitable organizations and other compliance reports with relevant government agencies.
- Researching and interpreting relevant information upon request by manager.
- Improving job knowledge continuously by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Qualifications:
. Must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or higher.
. Accustomed to working in a deadline-oriented environment by demonstrating proper time management
. Must be detailed oriented and able to prioritize work load
. Must demonstrate proficiency in various PC programs (Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, etc.)
. Must be team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
. Prefer a minimum of 2 years work experience in public accounting
. CPA credentials (or working towards certification) desirable but not required
. Related work experience in a professional service environment is a plus
