JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: IT Services   Administrator Date: January 7,   2011
Job Summary:
The   IT Services Administrator maintains the computer systems, troubleshoots   problems, designs programs to help The Center work more efficiently, and   develops networks that allow the computers in the company to communicate with   each other and share files and data as needed.  The IT Services   Administrator, working under the guidance of the Sr. Business Analyst, will   oversee technical staff as they work to keep the computer systems of the   company up and running. 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of additions,   deletions, and major modifications to the companies’ technology   infrastructure.
  •   Responsible   for maintain the Helpdesk and responding to inquiries in a timely fashion.
  •   Responsible   for network troubleshooting and maintenance.
  •   Installation,   configuration of printers, scanners, print servers, and webcams.
  •   Implement   and maintain network security.
  •   Oversee   the administration of the company’s WAN.
  •   Oversee   the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software.
  •   Oversee   troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery, and   provides expert support when necessary.
  •   Oversee   the administration and maintenance of enterprise software applications such   as Time Matters, AXYS, and Microsoft Navision.
  •   Interact   with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and   provides answers in a timely manner.
  •   Build   and maintain vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and   software products as well as acquisition and management of technology support   services.
  •   Manage   the purchase of software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  •   Ensure   that company assets are maintained responsibly.
  •   Work   in conjunction with an IT Managed Services Provider to obtain supplemental IT   support and project management assistance for major IT initiatives.
  •   Perform   other duties as assigned.

Physical   Demands:
In   order to perform the essential job functions of this position, some physical   demands are required.  The individual   in this position will be frequently engaged in activities that require body   mobility in order to perform such as; lifting and carrying items, moving   about in the workplace, and operating some office equipment.  The individual in this position must also   be capable of maintaining regular attendance, following instructions,   understanding workplace materials, and communicating with others.  Reasonable accommodations will be made   accordingly.
