Project Management is the internal agency engine, linking all agency functions and managing projects end-to-end to deliver a high volume of projects on-time and on-budget.
Project Management works closely with Account Management, Creative, and Production to help deliver WDPR business results and strengthen the Yellow Shoes agency reputation.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with Account Management to initiate projects in Workfront
- Develop detailed project schedules and ensure that Account, Creative, and Production are aligned and aware of key project milestones.
- Update timelines as needed and call out potential conflicts.
- Shepherd projects from beginning to end as the established “go to” person if there’s ever a question of where a project is in its life cycle, and ensure projects are updated in Workfront as milestones are met
- When developing timelines, ensure that internal and external partner input is accounted for (Public Relations, Public Affairs, Customer Engagement, Pixar, etc.)
- Lead a weekly status meeting with core team to ensure everyone is aware of where projects are in the pipeline and near-term deliverables
- Proactively call out scheduling, resource or other issues well in advance and offer up solutions for addressing them
- Ensure the team is aware of timing implications on requested changes and communicate to all impacted partners
- Follow up with teams to ensure revisions are being made and shared with CDs and Creative VP prior to the next regroup
- Act as the liaison between Account, Creative, and Business Affairs to ensure all work is being vetted at the appropriate stages
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 3-5 years of professional marketing, ad agency, project management, or related experience
- Strong knowledge of communication mediums including video, print, digital, social, email, collateral, OOH, and the production process supporting each
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively lead a high volume of projects and related tactics once they come into the agency… owning the details and timelines from project inception to delivery
- Strong at viewing both the big picture while still being extremely detail oriented; highly accountable to delivering what is expected on-time
- Effective relationship building skills with Account, Creative, and Production peers, and ability to influence and leverage those relationships to get the work done; seen as a core part of the team
- Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills, not just adhering to project dates that have been established, with a sense of urgency
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the full agency process and ability to be flexible… looking at all project deliverables to determine overlap, find efficiencies, and prioritize across work businesses and projects
- Motivated self-starter, ability to work independently with minimum direction
