About the Role

We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations at two short-term rental properties in the Tampa Bay Area. This is a part-time, contract-based role—ideal for someone who’s proactive, organized, and looking to gain hands-on experience in customer service, hospitality, or property management.

You’ll help ensure the properties are guest-ready, coordinate with contractors, assist with staging and decor, and support ongoing upgrades or renovations. While most work will take place on weekdays, occasional weekend or after-hours availability may be needed for time-sensitive tasks, such as meeting a contractor or handling a delivery. These situations are less common, but flexibility is appreciated when they arise.

What You’ll Do

Guest Experience & Property Oversight

  • Perform pre- and post-stay property checks to ensure cleanliness and staging meet brand standards
  • Respond to occasional on-site guest needs
  • Assist with staging and organizing furniture, supplies, and decor

Vendor & Project Coordination

  • Meet contractors on-site for repairs, upgrades, or inspections
  • Track project progress and report updates to the property owner
  • Receive and unpack deliveries (furniture, decor, supplies)

Who You Are

  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong communicator; comfortable interacting with guests and vendors
  • Organized, detail-focused, and solution-oriented
  • Bonus: Experience with Airbnb or short-term rentals

Requirements

  • Based in or near Tampa or Tarpon Springs, FL
  • Access to a reliable vehicle + valid driver’s license
  • Flexible availability on weekdays (occasional weekend/evening availability may be needed)
  • Able to lift and move boxes or furnishings up to 40 lbs
  • English fluency required (professional/business level)

Preferred (but not required)

  • Spanish – strongly preferred
  • Portuguese – a plus, but not required

Compensation & Details

  • Type: Contract / 1099
  • Location: Tampa & Tarpon Springs, FL
  • $22–$30/hour, depending on experience
  • Independent contractor (you’ll receive a 1099 for tax purposes)
  • Hours vary depending on property activity and season
  • Flexible scheduling and autonomy in managing your day-to-day
