Assistant Property Manager – Apartment Community (400 Units)
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: Up to $26/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (Some Saturdays as needed)
About the Role:
We are seeking a professional and driven Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations at a 400-unit apartment community in Tampa, FL. This role includes full property management and leasing responsibilities, making it ideal for someone with experience who is ready to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager with daily operations and community oversight
- Handle all leasing duties including:
- Conducting tours and closing leases
- Application processing, screening, and move-ins
- Lease renewals and rent increases
- Oversee rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and lease enforcement
- Respond to resident concerns and maintenance issues with professionalism
- Coordinate with maintenance staff on work orders and unit turns
- Monitor occupancy, prepare weekly reports, and assist with financial goals
- Utilize Yardi, Blue Moon, or similar software for leasing and resident management
- Support marketing efforts to attract and retain residents
- Step in to manage the property in the absence of the Property Manager
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in property management or apartment leasing
- Working knowledge of fair housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations
- Experience with Yardi, Blue Moon, or similar property management platforms
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
