Trinity Construction Management, a turn-key subcontractor in the commercial construction industry is seeking a qualified Project Manager with experience in the commercial construction industry.
The Project Manager performs various tasks for the Site Superintendents, Field Staff and Executive Staff to complete construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project. A Project Manager is required to demonstrate knowledge of standard construction practices and methods, construction documents and a full understanding of Architectural & Structural plans and Submittal drawings. He or she should be competent in handling simultaneously occurring tasks on multiple large projects and have excellent written and oral communication skills. This candidate will be responsible for project submittals, review, and release, scheduling, phasing, logistics, prior to, during, and up to construction completion.
This is an extremely fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Candidate must be a team player, wearing many hats, be self-motivated, design oriented and be able to manage multiple tasks for multiple projects at once in various stages of construction.
General requirements, in addition to the above:
- Perform daily communication with the Project Management team.
- Capable of effectively Managing Project Schedules for Multiple Projects at one time.
- Maintain Monthly Pay Applications and Billings for all Assigned Projects.
- Manage the day-to-day operation aspects of all their projects
- Ability to make decisions that consider both schedule and budgets.
- Resolve and/or deescalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Prepare estimates and budgets from preconstruction documents.
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors and customers.
- Attend jobsite meetings with Customers, Vendors, Architects, Engineers & General Contractors.
- Developing, managing and enforcing construction schedules.
- Ability to Build, Manage and Maintain Project Spreadsheets, both Existing and Custom as required
- Proficient in construction management disciplines, techniques and applications
- Excellent knowledge of software and company procedures for managing projects.
- Learn various software and company procedures for managing projects.
- Manage, control and update contract documents.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings is firm!
- Glass/Glazing experience is a Plus but not required.
- High proficiency in Excel, as spreadsheets are widely used for budgets, estimates, and scheduling, extensive computer knowledge, including windows, word, outlook, PROCORE, Smartsheet & Bluebeam.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical and decision making skills.
- Outstanding commitment and dedication to the company and its customers, with a FIRM commitment to on-time completion and NO-PUNCH LIST!
- Must be professional and polished in appearance and speech.
