Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Web Developer & IT Support Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats — from developing and maintaining our e-commerce website to managing basic IT operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Shopify, Odoo, and e-commerce integrations, and be well-versed in Python, JavaScript, XML, networking, and general IT support. We are also seeking a candidate who has a strong command of SEO analytics, tools and optimization techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Development & E-Commerce:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the company’s Shopify website.
- Implement and manage e-commerce solutions and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, shipping APIs, CRM).
- Customize themes, templates, and plugins using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify).
- Work with Odoo ERP to connect front-end e-commerce functionality with backend operations (inventory, sales, fulfillment).
- Write and manage scripts or modules in Python, JavaScript, and XML to automate or improve digital workflows.
SEO Management:
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page/off-page SEO optimization.
- Monitor website performance and search rankings using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
ERP & Integration Support:
- Customize and troubleshoot modules in Odoo for functions such as inventory, CRM, and order processing.
- Ensure data consistency and synchronization between platforms (Shopify, Odoo, shipping services, etc.).
IT & Network Support:
- Provide day-to-day IT support to staff (troubleshooting hardware/software issues, printers, email, etc.).
- Maintain and manage firewalls, routers, and general network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and maintain company devices (PCs, scanners, label printers, barcode devices).
- Manage basic cybersecurity measures and ensure secure data handling.
- Liaise with third-party IT vendors as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in web development and IT support.
- Proficient in Shopify, JavaScript, Python, XML, and website integrations.
- Experience working with Odoo ERP or similar ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of firewall management, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Google Workspace, and general IT troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a small team.
