Part-Time Video Content Editor for YouTube & Social Media
We’re seeking a talented video content editor to join our team on a part-time basis. You’ll be responsible for transforming raw iPhone footage into engaging content optimized for YouTube and various social media platforms. This is a flexible, remote position perfect for someone who thrives on creativity and understands the nuances of digital storytelling.
Hours & Location
- Hours: 4-16 hours per week (flexible schedule)
- Location: Remote (must reside in the United States)
- Type: Part-time, contract/freelance
What You’ll Do
- Edit video content shot primarily on iPhone for YouTube and social media platforms
- Create engaging, platform-optimized content that captures and holds audience attention
- Collaborate with the team using project management tools
- Maintain consistent quality and style across all video content
- Meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
Required Skills & Experience
You must have demonstrated experience with the following platforms and tools:
- Video Editing: DaVinci Resolve, Descript
- Project Management: Notion, Trello
- Presentation/Visual Tools: Prezi
- AI Tools: Claude (Anthropic)
- Mobile Editing: Experience working with iPhone-shot footage

- Portfolio Required: Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and platform-specific editing styles
- Style Matters: We have a specific editing aesthetic in mind, so your portfolio should showcase your range and style
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with various file formats and optimizing content for different platforms
- Communication: Responsive and clear communicator who can take direction and provide creative input
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
