Job Description:
As a Staff Accountant, you will:
- Support the Finance Team in managing and executing key financial initiatives.
- Review client sales tax exemption certificates and attach them to the customer files.
- Audit customer locations for appropriate sales tax classifications.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of all sales tax returns across various state (training provided)
- Ensure all financial data is organized and accessible for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.

Organized and Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to liaise between the finance department and other teams.
Adaptability: Willing to learn new financial tools and approaches.
Professionalism: Ability to maintain discretion with sensitive company data.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, with 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
