Tax Manager

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage tax advisory services and tax compliance for pass-through entities across a broad range of industries, including Construction, Manufacturing, Retail, and Professional Services.
- Conduct research on complex tax matters and prepare written analyses with a strong understanding of the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations.
- Develop, build, and manage client relationships — including billing and collections — independently.
- Represent the firm in the professional and business community with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Lead, develop, and train professional tax staff, fostering growth and excellence.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Take ownership of firm initiatives by participating in committees focused on client service, staff development, and operational improvements.
- Demonstrate strong supervisory, team-building, and time management skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant public accounting experience, including technical tax consulting and research.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active CPA license required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Taxation or LL.M. in Taxation.
- Experience with CCH ProSystems Tax Software, Engagement, and Document is a plus.
Compensation
Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
