Accounting Manager – NOW CFO

We are seeking an Accounting Managerto lead a client engagement and provide hands-on accounting leadership.. This is a full-time, W-2 position with NOW CFO offering the opportunity to manage diverse accounting projects and partner directly with executive teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for client engagements
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control standards
- Partner with clients to troubleshoot accounting challenges and present actionable solutions
- Support and develop accounting staff within assigned projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public or private); prior management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in modern accounting systems and reporting tools
- Highly organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
