This is a fully remote position for candidates ideally residing in Canada or the US.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other Engineering stakeholders to uphold a high quality standard in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Step into a product management role when needed to ensure that our solutions meet our high standards.
- Develop full stack features that address complex technical challenges, integrating both frontend and backend aspects to enhance user experience and system reliability.
- Engage in all phases of project lifecycle, from planning to deployment, including code reviews and performance optimization.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers, helping them advance their skills and careers.

Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and a modern backend language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Java).
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles.
- You are adaptable and excel in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Rails, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch is highly valued.
- Background in startup environments, possibly as a founder or early employee, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and versatility.
- 5+ years of experience in professional software development, working across the stack or backend-leaning (must be an IC).
Salary$180K – $210K
