Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst specializing in Data Integrations to join our clients dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration solutions that enable seamless information flow across diverse enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of system architecture, solution design, and data management principles, ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our data ecosystems.
THE SUCCESSFUL BSA (DATA INTEGRATIONS) WLL HAVE:
Qualifications:
- 6+ yrs Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with strong process, data, and systems understanding, preferably in enterprise application environments.
- The ideal candidate will have SQL skills including simple and complex queries. Strong understanding of Databases and how to extract data.
- Document mapping, Gather requirements using summaries and working in a fast paced Agile environment.
- Document existing workflows in Informatica. This includes requirements summary, mapping documents.
- Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications and mapping documents as well as communicate in writing or in meetings with the team.
- Develop process flow charts as required to support use case/business requirements understanding
- Business Analysis: Requirement gathering, data modeling, data mapping and migrations
- Experience with Informatica or Modern Data Integration tools such as (Data Bricks, Informatica, or similar data integration platforms preferred.)
- Support requirements and documents during the migration to Informatica cloud project.
- Design, develop, and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to facilitate accurate data movement between systems and various databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and ensure alignment with IT infrastructure standards.
- Conduct system design reviews and participate in system architecture planning to optimize performance, load balancing, and scalability.
- Implement system hardening measures and conduct vulnerability assessments to uphold information security standards.
- Document technical specifications, system configurations, and integration workflows for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Product Backlog Management:Take ownership of the product backlog
- Production Support and Process Flow: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production support incidents and requests
- Prioritize and groom project tasks to ensure efficient delivery.
- Provide weekly updates to the Project Management Office (PMO) and actively participate in SCRUM meetings
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS Systems or related technical field required (5 additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted)
