Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial concepts are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, financial records
  • Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with financial statement writing
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
  • Conduct payroll processing and tax-related activities as needed
  • Assist with budgeting, account analysis, and technical accounting tasks
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all financial transactions and ensure data accuracy
  • Support governmental accounting requirements when applicable
  • Knowledge of Construction industry, electrical is a plus.

  • Hold a Florida notary license

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with familiarity in corporate and non-profit accounting environments
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, GAAP is preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and account reconciliation accurately
  • Knowledge of payroll processing, tax preparation, and governmental accounting standards is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • 10 key typing skills for efficient data processing
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
