This is responsible professional work coordinating and supervising the City’s enforcement of parking regulations in the downtown area and all aspects pertaining to municipal parking management and assigned traffic control including parking ticket collection activities; oversees installation maintenance and repair of the City’s parking meters; plans, assigns, and supervises the activities of staff engaged in the enforcement of parking regulations; supervises the collection of all parking meters and parking pay stations; coordinates parking plans with the police department for special events; and works with staff in parking operation on the City’s employee parking program as well as City managed parking garages and lots. Work requires the ability to function competently with considerable independence; the ability to plan, schedule and meet deadlines; and focused attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy.
Salary: $73,036 – $117,013

Minimum Qualifications. Applicants must:
· Possess a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency.
· Possess and maintain a valid Driver License.
· Have at least five (5) years of supervisory experience.
· Be able to work a flexible schedule including working some evenings and weekends.
· Be skilled in providing excellent customer service and employing excellent interpersonal communication skills.
· Be familiar with street names and locations within downtown St. Petersburg.
· Have previous experience working with the public.
Desirable Qualifications. Preferred applicants:
· Possess a valid Bachelor’s degree.
· Are a Certified Parking Transportation and Mobility Professional.
· Have some understanding of computer technology.
· Have previous experience in parking enforcement or a related field.
· Have experience in parking ticket collections.
