We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits to evaluate compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and other financial regulations.
- Review and monitor adherence to banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols, to prevent fraud and ensure secure banking operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance management programs aligned with COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks.
- Support regulatory reporting processes by preparing accurate documentation related to securities law, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), and other financial disclosures.
- Evaluate internal controls related to corporate accounting functions, ensuring they meet GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards) requirements.
- Collaborate with internal audit teams during audits focused on fraud prevention, detection, and overall compliance effectiveness.
- Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, audit findings, and corrective actions taken to uphold transparency and accountability.
Skills
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance requirements and internal control frameworks such as COSO.
- Solid background in accounting principles, including technical accounting standards and financial concepts.
- Knowledge of banking regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act, ACH (Automated Clearing House), and Fair Housing regulations.
- Experience with regulatory reporting procedures for securities law and financial disclosures.
- Familiarity with auditing standards such as GAAS and the role of internal audits in risk mitigation.
- Proficiency with financial software systems used for compliance tracking and reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with strong attention to detail to identify potential compliance issues early.
