Role Description

This role is suited for a knowledgeable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist with strong macOS expertise. In this role, you will provide essential technical support across a predominantly Apple-based environment, helping our staff work efficiently and securely. Your technical skills and proactive mindset will be critical in maintaining system performance and delivering high-quality IT services to support our mission of driving success for technology-focused organizations.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across the organization.

Manage and troubleshoot desktop environments to ensure optimal performance.

Assist with computer networking tasks to maintain connectivity and security.

Utilize ticketing systems to track support requests and resolutions.

Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical needs and provide solutions.

Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures for future reference.

Provide frontline support for macOS hardware and software issues across the organization.

Set up, configure, and maintain Apple devices including MacBooks.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the macOS desktop environment, ensuring smooth user experience and minimal downtime.

Support Apple device management tools (e.g., Jamf, Mosyle, or similar MDM platforms).

Manage software installations, updates, and licensing on macOS systems.

Assist with network troubleshooting and support, particularly in environments with Apple devices.

Collaborate with users to assess technical needs and deliver effective solutions.

Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.

Support additional systems such as AV equipment, VoIP setups, and Office 365 applications.

Education Skills, and Experience

Proven experience in desktop support or technical support roles.

Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and practices.

Familiarity with MAC operating system and common desktop software applications.

Familiarity with Networking, AV Equipment, VoIP is desirable

Experience with O365

Excellent communication skills to interact with users at all levels.

Ability to analyze problems effectively and provide timely solutions.
