This litigation / real estate associate attorney position plays a vital role in the law firm. The position anticipates that the candidate will successfully pass or has successfully passed the Florida Bar. The vision for the Associate Attorney is that they will build their own book of business within the law firm. The Associate Attorney will use, improve and create systems within the law firm to increase profitability, both for the firm and for the Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will interact with clients from consultation through completion of their case, as well as draft motions and argue hearings. Another role of the position is to create the legal strategies to assist the client in obtaining their desired outcome. The ideal candidate should be able to network to bring in new clients (as a part of their compensation) as well as look for opportunities for the growth of the law firm, within the law firm’s core values and practice areas. The Associate Attorney will learn directly from the owner of the firm (an attorney of 28 years), and will be able to create their own position within the firm.

The duties and responsibilities in this position are:

  • Networking to Generate Business
  • Prepare / Review Documents in litigated cases and real estate cases
  • Drafting Motions and pleadings
  • Overseeing Loan Modification and Short Sale Applications
  • Drafting other documents, as necessary for client representation
  • Communicate with Clients
  • Conduct Client Consultations and Intake
  • Phone & Email communication
  • Communicate with Third Parties (Courts, opposing counsel, etc.)
  • Overseeing negotiations with Debt Collectors on behalf of Clients
  • Calendar Management
  • Hearings Coverage
  • Assist in other areas in the firm, as necessary
  • Maintain CLE Hours and other licensure requirements

Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
