Job Title: Cost Accountant (2-5 years previous experience REQUIRED)

Pay: $58-$72k/year DOE
Job Summary The candidate will work as a Cost Accountant responsible for analyzing manufacturing costs and preparing cost estimates to ensure accurate product costing and financial reporting. They will maintain cost accounting systems and support operational decision-making to drive efficiency and profitability in manufacturing operations.
Cost Accounting & Analysis
- Maintain and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
- Analyze manufacturing cost variances (material usage, labor efficiency, scrap, overhead absorption).
- Review and reconcile Work-In-Process (WIP) and inventory accounts.
- Prepare monthly cost roll-ups and conduct BOM/routing audits.
- Monitor production orders for accuracy, completeness, and cost performance.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Experience
- 2-5+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, NetSuite, Infor).
- Strong understanding of standard costing and manufacturing workflows.
Pay Details: $58,000.00 to $72,000.00 per year
