What We’re Looking For:
- The ideal candidate has 2+ years of financial analysis experience
- Intermediate Excel knowledge required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- General Accounting/GAAP experience preferred
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger activity, balance sheet reconciliations, prepaid schedules, and supporting documentation while monitoring month-end close procedures
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, including preparing actual-to-forecast comparisons and explaining key discrepancies
- Build and maintain detailed financial models using historical and current data to evaluate performance, forecast outcomes, and assess cost-saving or growth scenarios
- Assemble and analyze financial data to provide trend analysis and actionable insights for senior leadership and strategic planning
- Assist with annual external audit requests and ensure timely, accurate documentation
- Identify process improvement opportunities within accounting and reporting functions and present recommendations to leadership
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects related to current operations and new business initiatives
