We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The senior accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, assisting with month-end close, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data, developing processes and supporting operations for a growing organization.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial data.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account analysis, and audit preparations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles with a focus on financial management.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and governmental or non-profit accounting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and detailed account analysis accurately.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting financial information clearly.
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
