GradImages®, a division of Balfour & Co., is seeking dependable, energetic individuals to join our team as Trainee Photographers for graduation events in and around Tampa, FL.

  • Photographers are scheduled for events within approximately 60 miles of their home locationMileage, tolls, and parking expenses are reimbursed when applicable.

Pay Per Event (3–4 hours):

$80 per event

Peak Hiring Seasons

We are currently hiring for our Spring Season (April–June).
Events are busiest during:

April – June

August – September

November – December

Open or flexible availability during these months is strongly preferred.
Graduation events occur primarily on weekends, though some weekday availability is helpful.

What We’re Looking For

Friendly, professional demeanor

Strong time management and communication skills

Reliable transportation to events within a 60-mile radius

At least 1 year of DSLR camera experience

**Dress Code Requirements (Mandatory)**

Because we work directly with graduates and faculty, a professional appearance is required by our client schools.

✔ Conservative business suit required
✔ Dark colors only (to keep focus on the graduates)
✔ Hair must be natural-looking, clean, and neatly styled

✖ No unkempt hair or non-traditional hair colors
✖ No facial piercings
✖ Tattoos must be completely covered at all times

Failure to meet dress code requirements may result in removal from scheduled events.

Trainee Photographer Responsibilities

  • Use Nikon DSLR equipment (provided)
  • Capture high-quality portraits and candid images
  • Set up and break down photography equipment
  • Work closely with team members to ensure smooth event flow
  • No photo editing or post-processing required

** Failure to attend scheduled and confirmed events may result in immediate termination and loss of future eligibility. **

Pay: $20.00 per hour

  • Because we work directly with the graduates, the school requires us to have a dress code. Dress in a conservative business suit. Wearing dark colors is required by the school, since the focus is on them. Hair should be natural-looking, clean, combed, and neatly trimmed or arranged.
