Job Description:Provides computer support to all of Surgical Services and Anesthesia. Manages and audits charge capture related to supply pick lists and procedural charges. Coordinates and supports nursing computerization within Surgical Services. Assists with daily management of billing and charting reconciliation. Serves as the consultant/liaison for I-Connect/Surginet. Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of surgery scheduling to act as a resource as needed. Demonstrates computer literacy and accurate data entry skills. Works collaboratively with staff inside and outside respective departments. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Shows ability to adapt to new tasks and work autonomously. Completes assigned work in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned.
Shift: Days- 8:00am-4:30pm Mon – Fri (no call, no weekends)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Computer skills [Required]
- Knowledge and skills related to hospital accounting systems [Preferred]
- Knowledge and skills related to hospital data entry systems [Preferred]
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:

Work Experience:
- Prior Charge Master experience [Preferred]
- Prior experience and/or training related to Surgical Services [Required]
- Prior experience with AS 400 system and related hospital systems [Preferred]
- EPIC experience [Preferred]
- Excel experience [Preferred ]
