Company is looking for a strategic and creative Communications / Marketing Director to help amplify our mission, strengthen our brand, and expand our community impact.
This leadership role will oversee the Foundation’s communications strategy across media, digital platforms, donor engagement, and internal messaging. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, experienced in nonprofit communications, and passionate about using media and marketing to drive meaningful change.
Location: Hybrid – Tampa, Florida
Schedule: Part-time to start, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the Foundation’s communications and marketing strategy
Create compelling content (press releases, newsletters, social media, campaigns, reports)
Manage media relations and secure press coverage
Collaborate with leadership and development teams to support fundraising initiatives Monitor communications performance and engagement metrics
Strengthen the Foundation’s brand presence and public visibility
Qualifications
✔ 5–10 years of communications, PR, or marketing experience
✔ Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred
✔ Strong writing, storytelling, and media relations skills
✔ Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
