Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator (on site) to support Utilities Maintenance and Plant Operations. This role involves coordinating projects, tracking performance, managing budgets, and supporting operational improvements across divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects from initiation through completion
  • Track budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Support contract administration and compliance efforts
  • Collaborate with internal teams, municipalities, and contractors
  • Monitor timelines, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Assist with process improvements and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, finance, public administration, planning, IT, or related field and 4 years of relevant experience; OR
  • Master’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience; OR
  • 8 years of professional experience in a related field (including at least 1 year of supervisory experience or training); OR
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Preferred / Special Qualifications

  • Project management or related certification
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to work varied schedules, including emergency/disaster situations if needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of public administration principles and practices
  • Knowledge of budgeting, finance, and project management systems
  • Familiarity with project tracking, reporting, and documentation tools
  • Understanding of building design and construction processes (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead projects, coordinate teams, and facilitate group discussions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects
  • Proficiency in computer applications and data management systems
  • Ability to analyze performance, implement improvements, and manage change
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Duration: Through at least end of year
  • Location: Clearwater, FL ON SITE

Pay: $34.19 per hour
