We are seeking an experienced Database Developer to design, optimize, and evolve our database environment in support of data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role goes beyond writing queries — you will help shape database architecture, improve performance, and partner closely with IT, analysts, and business leaders to drive scalable, high-availability solutions.
This is a full-time, exempt role reporting to the IT Director. This is an in-office position located in Brandon, FL.
What You’ll Do
- Design, improve, and maintain scalable, high-availability database solutions
- Assess existing database structures and automations to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Partner with management and IT teams on short- and long-term database planning and technology roadmaps
- Develop queries and utilize reporting tools to extract, analyze, and present data from multiple sources
- Support internal users by collaborating across IT to resolve database-related issues
- Maintain high standards for data integrity, confidentiality, and quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts as technologies and business needs evolve

The Database Developer will assess and improve database design; and gather, organize, and interpret business challenges and needs to find areas of improvement, gain efficiency and maintain structurally sound database and automation.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with planning and implementation of database solutions that are scalable and architected for high availability
- Identify areas of potential improvement within current database structure and automations
- Work with company management teams for short- and long-term database planning, technology roadmap creation and operational improvements
- Utilize reporting tools and software; develop queries to generate reports and/or gather data from multiple sources
- Work with all members of the IT department to provide technical support to all end users.
