About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. This is an excellent entry-level accounting opportunity for someone interested in growing in the field of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), billing, invoicing, and data entry.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with numbers, maintaining organized financial records, and supporting purchasing and accounting operations. We are looking for someone dependable, accurate, and motivated to grow into more advanced accounting responsibilities over time.
You will work directly with our Accounting Manager while gaining hands-on experience in operational accounting, purchasing support, and financial data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate accounting and financial data
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and customer payment follow-up
- Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
- Process vendor invoices and assist with purchase orders (POs)
- Reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
- Track purchasing and inventory-related financial data
- Maintain organized, audit-ready accounting records
- Communicate with vendors and internal staff to resolve discrepancies
- Perform data entry tasks with strong attention to accuracy
- Assist with improving accounting workflows and operational efficiency
- Support day-to-day accounting operations under supervision of the Accounting Manager
Required Skills

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications(Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply)
- 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, billing, or administrative experience
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting
- Familiarity with purchase orders, vendor invoices, or reconciliation
- Experience in construction, purchasing, materials, or inventory accounting is a plus
