Senior Accountant – Ledgent Finance & Accounting
Location: Tampa, FL | Employment Type: Full-Time
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing organization. This role will focus on balance sheet reconciliations, payroll accruals, and month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
$85,000-$95,000
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
- Prepare and review payroll accruals (wages, bonuses, PTO, benefits)
- Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries
- Analyze account fluctuations and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Collaborate with payroll and HR teams for accurate reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong experience with reconciliations and payroll accounting
- Knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in Excel
- ERP system experience preferred
