Location: Florida (Hybrid/On-site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a battle-tested Senior Manager of Data Center & Infrastructure to own the strategic direction, operational excellence, and team leadership of our multi-site, mission-critical environment. This is not a standard IT management role; we run a high-intensity workload ecosystem where zero downtime is the expectation, not just a goal.

You will be the steward of a sophisticated, multi-vendor network and systems landscape spanning multiple interconnected data centers, engineered for both Active-Active load distribution and Active-Passive failover scenarios. You will not only manage the technology but also lead a tiered, global support structure to ensure service continuity.

The Technical Landscape You Will Own

Our infrastructure is a “best-of-breed” ecosystem. You must have deep, hands-on architectural familiarity with integrating and operating the following vendor technologies in a multi-data center interconnect (DCI) environment:

· Network Core & Edge: Cisco (Nexus/Catalyst), Juniper (MX/QFX Series)

· Security & Perimeter: Palo Alto Networks (NGFW/Panorama), F5 (LTM/GTM/DNS for global load balancing)

· Compute & Virtualization: HPE (Synergy/ProLiant)

· Operating Systems & Middleware: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Microsoft (Windows Server/Active Directory)

Key Responsibilities

1. Zero-Downtime Multi-DC Operations

· Architect and govern the operational strategy for interconnected data centers, ensuring seamless Active-Active traffic flow and instant Active-Passive failover capabilities.

· Maintain the demanding uptime SLA for high-intensity compute workloads, ensuring that maintenance, patching, and upgrades are executed with no customer-facing impact.

· Drive root cause analysis for any risk condition, ensuring that the complex interplay between Cisco networking, F5 traffic management, and Palo Alto security postures never results in a production outage.

2. Vendor & Technology Ecosystem Management

· Manage the lifecycle of critical infrastructure across Red Hat, Microsoft, HPE, and network vendors. Ensure strict configuration standardization and interoperability between Juniper and Cisco fabrics in multi-site topologies.

· Validate that global load-balancing policies on F5 GTM are optimized to route traffic across geographically diverse sites, balancing intense workloads transparently.

3. Global Team Leadership & Tiered Support

· Direct Reports: Supervise and mentor a team of Specialist Managers (e.g., Network Manager, Systems Manager, Security Operations Lead).

· Indirect Oversight: Through your specialist managers, provide secondary support, process governance, and escalation pathways for Tier 1 and Tier 2 end-user support engineers located in multiple countries.

· Build a follow-the-sun support model, ensuring that frontline tickets that hint at infrastructure instability (latency, packet loss, authentication failures) are instantly escalated to your specialist teams before users are impacted.

What You Bring (Must-Haves)

· Proven Multi-Site Mastery: 8+ years managing data center infrastructure, with at least 3 years in an environment where inter-DC failover (Active/Active or Active/Passive) was a daily operational reality.

· Vendor Fluency: You don’t just know these names; you’ve personally managed environments using Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, F5, HPE, Red Hat, and Microsoft. You understand how an F5 iRule interacts with a Palo Alto threat profile, or how a Juniper BGP configuration fails over in a Cisco-peered fabric.

· Zero-Downtime Track Record: You’ve managed patching cycles and refresh projects in environments intolerant of downtime. You’re familiar with live migration, rolling upgrades, and hitless failover strategies.

· Global People Leader: Experience managing senior technical leaders (managers/leads) and experience dealing with culturally diverse, multi-country support tiers.

· Location: Based in Florida, with willingness to travel regionally to the data center sites as required for critical incidents or major lifecycles.

Why Join Us?
