Overview of the Position
This position is primarily responsible for providing administrative and technical support to ensure the efficient and accurate management of the court’s lawyer admission database. The position is a resource for lawyers, management, and staff on administrative and operational matters related to the lawyer roll, compliance, court bar membership, and CM/ECF compliance. This position is also responsible for conducting quality control review of court filings and statistical data and assisting with the development and implementation of district procedures. Occasional travel is required.

Position Description
This position assists the district operations department by performing the following duties and responsibilities:
- Oversee the CM/ECF lawyer admission database. Review, identify, and correct errant and duplicate records.
- Manage the lawyer admission process, including renewals, to ensure both an accurate and efficient process for membership in the court’s bar
- Ensure lawyers with access to the electronic filing systems are in compliance with court bar membership requirements. Maintain control records.
- Process new attorney admissions applications, e-file requests, and contact information updates
- Assist the public with phone and email inquiries
- Process disciplinary reports and related record updates. Assist with processing court disciplinary matters, including preparing documents and correspondence.
- Monitor requests for a Certificate of Good Standing and issue a certificate if appropriate. Issue membership certificates when requested
- Assist with the special admission to practice process. Verify compliance with special admission requirements and process related e-file requests.
- Monitor mediator inbox and process mediator certification applications and contact information updates. Prepare new mediator list and update the mediator roster.
- Clearly communicate information regarding attorney admissions to judges, law clerks, and other chambers staff as necessary
- Prepare reports, form letters, notices, and other correspondence related to court bar membership; CM/ECF and PACER accounts; and other topics
- Perform data entry functions. Generate standard reports from databases and computerized systems. Track statistics and data.
- Provide administrative and operational support as needed for regular court functions and special projects
- Perform quality control review of court filings and statistical data
- Assist with developing and implementing district procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Requires a total of four years’ experience, two years at a progressively responsible administrative level, which demonstrates the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position.

- CL 26: $54,372 – $88,366
- $54,372 – $67,970 New federal employees*

- Starting salary adjustments prioritize prior federal service, with some recognition of relevant work experience and prior salary history. Applicants with prior federal court experience may be eligible for a starting salary above the minimum.
