Do you have MLS experience in the real estate industry but prefer the stability of a salary over the uncertainty of commission-only sales?
Eaton Realty is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Listing Coordinator to oversee the administrative and marketing process behind our residential listings. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order from chaos, thrives on process and consistency, and takes pride in getting the details right every time.
Rather than spending your days prospecting for leads and chasing commissions, you’ll play a critical role behind the scenes, helping our agents bring listings to market quickly, accurately, and professionally. Have an eye for photography? This role will also photograph homes using Eaton Realty’s high-end photography equipment, then edit and process images used in all property marketing.
This is not a sales position. The Listing Coordinator is responsible for supporting our agents and managing the operational side of bringing listings to market. If you enjoy real estate but prefer process, organization, and predictable income over lead generation and commission-based sales, this may be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
The Listing Coordinator serves as the operational hub of the listing process from pre-listing preparation through MLS activation and marketing launch.
Listing Management
- Enter and maintain listing data in MLS and brokerage systems
- Verify all listing information for accuracy and compliance
- Upload photos, virtual tours, floor plans, documents, and disclosures
- Coordinate listing launches and status changes
- Monitor listing timelines and critical deadlines
Photography & Marketing Coordination
- Schedule photography appointments with homeowners and agents
- Photograph homes
- Create Matterport virtual tours
- Process, organize, and upload listing photos
- Write compelling listing descriptions and marketing copy
- Coordinate signpost and sign installation and removal
- Ensure listings are properly displayed on MLS, brokerage websites, and marketing platforms
Agent & Client Coordination
- Communicate regularly with agents, homeowners, photographers, and vendors
- Track multiple listings simultaneously at various stages of completion
- Adapt quickly when schedules change due to weather, homeowner availability, repairs, or other unexpected issues
- Keep agents informed of upcoming deadlines and action items
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?
This position requires exceptional attention to detail.
A single incorrect MLS field, omitted disclosure, inaccurate property characteristic, or missed deadline can create significant confusion, compliance concerns, or liability for the brokerage. Accuracy is not optional—it’s essential.
The ideal candidate:
- Notices details others miss
- Enjoys following processes and checklists
- Takes pride in producing accurate work
- Remains organized while managing multiple projects
- Handles changing priorities without becoming overwhelmed
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Enjoys routine and repetition while maintaining a high standard of quality

About the Work Environment
Real estate can be unpredictable.
You may be scheduled to photograph a home on Thursday only to have rain force a reschedule. A seller may need additional preparation before photos. An agent may move a listing launch date at the last minute.
While much of this position follows established procedures, priorities can shift quickly. The right person remains calm, flexible, and focused on solutions when plans change.
At the same time, this is a production-oriented role. The Listing Coordinator will routinely manage dozens of active listings each month and help launch a high volume of properties throughout the year. Success requires the ability to efficiently produce high-quality work repeatedly without sacrificing accuracy. Candidates who enjoy process-driven work, consistency, and the satisfaction of completing one project after another tend to thrive in this position.
