Job Description

Implements, monitors, tests, and improves the Document Management System (DMS), including COLD document storage, workflow configuration, interface setup, report and form design, application administration, job configuration, and integrations with financial systems. Supports the migration to Hyland OnBase Cloud and provides ongoing platform support focused on stability, quality, and business continuity.

Test Architecture and Platform Quality:

  • Administer and maintain the OnBase platform, including software releases, upgrades, patches, configuration migrations, refreshes, and restores.
  • Ensure overall platform health, security, performance, integration stability, and quality readiness.
  • Design and maintain regression test suites that support recurring, high-quality software releases.
  • Guide associates in planning, executing, and documenting functional and user acceptance testing.
  • Support audits by providing SDLC artifacts, test evidence, and required documentation.
  • Define the test architecture, standards, and processes for validating platform changes and cross-system integrations.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure providers to define deployment requirements for database, web, and application servers in multi-instance environments.

Customer Support/Problem Resolution:

  • Work with IT colleagues and/or the vendor to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and collaborates with the development team to implement solutions.
  • Monitor the OnBase system for high availability, load balancing, and satisfactory response time to ensure performance and reliability adhere to service level standards.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve performance issues.
  • Administer OnBase security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Develop instructions/documentation.

Architectural Strategy

  • Partner with Management on projects that involve OnBase architecture and document storage platforms.
  • Research and keep abreast of trends in technology that impact enterprise content management.
  • Provide input on the improvement and future direction of the OnBase service Vendor Management.
  • Work with the vendor support to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborate with vendor support and development teams to implement maintenance patches and upgrades.
  • Participate in contract and licensing discussions to provide platform related information and suggestions to optimize the solution from a contract/license perspective.

Skills/Previous Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience with Hyland OnBase
  • Technology Skills: C#, C++, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, SQL, database querying, reporting, scripting, solution design, prototyping, system configuration, access management, system support, service request management, incident management
  • Testing Skills: Test automation, Selenium, Azure DevOps/ TFS, Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, Jira, Jenkins, SDLC, requirements management, test management, issue tracking
  • Domain / Product Experience: Digital content management, backend integrations, financial services, financial account management systems, document management systems, Hyland OnBase, workflow, WorkView, API, document import processing, record retention
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task between projects and applications.
  • Experience working in and contributing to a team-oriented and collaborative environment that values positive, collegial relationships among co-workers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education Bachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, High School (HS) (Required)
