Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Entry Level Marketing Assistant to join our team. This position offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, event management, and client engagement within a professional engineering environment. You will support various marketing initiatives, assist with career fairs, and help promote our company through face-to-face communication and digital channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Draft, schedule, and maintain professional content for company social media accounts.
· Assist with website updates, project announcements, staff news, and recruiting content.
· Create and update marketing materials such as resumes, project sheets, flyers, presentations, and recruiting materials.
· Support proposal and qualification package preparation by gathering, formatting, and proofreading information.
· Help coordinate career fairs, conferences, sponsorships, employee events, and other company activities.
· Maintain organized marketing files, photographs, project information, and staff qualifications.
· Assist with taking and organizing photos for company events, projects, and social media.
· Proofread materials for grammar, consistency, formatting, and brand alignment.
· Provide general administrative support for marketing and business development efforts as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and common social media platforms.
· Comfort learning new software and managing multiple small projects at the same time.
· Professional communication skills and strong attention to detail.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to attend occasional local events or career fairs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience or coursework will be considered.
· Internship, school, or work experience involving social media, event coordination, marketing, recruiting, or communications.
· Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, or similar design/content tools.
