Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will assist in creating innovative interior spaces that blend functionality with aesthetic appeal, primarily focusing on residential projects. You will collaborate closely with senior designers and clients to develop design concepts, prepare detailed drawings, and support project execution from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Assist in developing conceptual interior design ideas tailored to client needs and project scope.
- Prepare detailed drawings and presentations using SketchUp.
- Create 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts effectively for clients and team review.
- Support the production of construction detail documentation ensuring building code compliance and accurate specifications.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors on lighting sales, remodeling, renovation, and construction details.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, deadlines, and budget constraints.
Skills
- Proficiency in SketchUp, modeling, and presentations.
- Strong knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project coordination.
- Skilled in 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering to produce realistic visualizations. Microsoft software
- Ability to manage design projects from concept through completion while coordinating with clients and contractors.
- Knowledge of interior design principles such as color theory, lighting design, space planning, and material selection.
