Position Summary
ATS is seeking an iPad Imaging Specialist for our Tampa, FL location. The iPad Imaging Specialist is responsible for preparing, configuring, imaging, enrolling, testing, and deploying iPads and other Apple mobile devices in a large-scale enterprise environment. This position will support device refresh and deployment activities, ensuring that each device is properly configured, secured, inventoried, and ready for end-user use.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Apple devices, mobile device management (MDM), device provisioning, troubleshooting, and high-volume technology deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Image, configure, provision, and prepare iPads and Apple devices for deployment.
- Enroll devices into Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or equivalent.
- Install and validate required applications, profiles, certificates, security settings, and configurations.
- Perform device resets, software updates, configuration changes, and troubleshooting.
- Verify device functionality before deployment, including Wi-Fi, applications, peripherals, cameras, audio, and other device features.
- Maintain accurate device inventory, serial numbers, asset tags, and deployment records.
- Support staging, labeling, packaging, and distribution of devices.
- Perform quality-control inspections to ensure devices meet deployment standards.
- Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, application, connectivity, and configuration issues.
- Follow established imaging, configuration, security, and deployment procedures.
- Document completed work and update ticketing or asset-management systems.
- Assist with large-scale device refresh and replacement initiatives.
- Coordinate with project managers, service desk personnel, system administrators, and end users.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate engineering or support team.
- Maintain a clean and organized staging environment.
- Protect company and customer data and follow applicable security and privacy requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1 3+ years of experience supporting, configuring, imaging, or deploying computers, tablets, smartphones, or other endpoint devices.
- Hands-on experience with Apple iPads and iOS/iPadOS.
- Experience with device provisioning, imaging, configuration, or deployment.
- Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Mosyle, or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and deployment standards.
- Experience working with asset-management or ticketing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a deployment team.
- Ability to lift, move, and stage technology equipment as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale iPad or Apple device deployments.
- Experience with Apple Business Manager.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or Jamf Pro.
- Experience with automated device enrollment and configuration profiles.
- CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Support Professional, or equivalent certification.
- Experience working in an enterprise, education, healthcare, or government environment.
- Previous experience supporting device refresh or technology modernization projects.

Work Environment
This is a hands-on technical position that may require working in a device staging environment and traveling to deployment locations within the Maryland area. The position may involve extended periods of standing, handling multiple devices, and repetitive configuration and testing activities.
