Position Overview
Traffic Advertising is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our in-office team in Palm Harbor, FL.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the Digital Marketing Department through project coordination, campaign support, budget pacing, reporting, quality assurance, website updates, research, and other recurring operational responsibilities.
This role is responsible for helping ensure established processes and client deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule, allowing Digital Marketing Specialists and department leadership to focus on campaign strategy, optimization, technical implementation, and account performance.
The Coordinator works within established strategies, budgets, SOPs, and approval processes. As experience and platform knowledge develop, the position may take on increasingly complex campaign execution responsibilities and provide a pathway toward a Digital Marketing Specialist role.
This position reports directly to the Digital Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Department & Project Support
- Coordinate assigned digital marketing requests and projects across the department.
- Maintain task management systems, deadlines, status updates, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with client onboarding, account access requests, asset collection, and account documentation.
- Support recurring department deadlines, promotional updates, and special projects as assigned.
Campaign Support
- Assist with campaign setup and implementation across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, and other approved advertising platforms.
- Complete approved creative, copy, asset, URL, and campaign updates using established processes.
- Support campaign launches by organizing required assets, information, and approvals.
- Conduct basic keyword, audience, competitor, and market research to support campaign planning.
Budget & Reporting Support
- Monitor advertising spend against approved client budgets and identify potential pacing concerns.
- Maintain budget pacing trackers, media documentation, and related account records.
- Pull and compile data from advertising, analytics, call-tracking, CRM, and reporting platforms.
- Prepare recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting materials and identify obvious discrepancies or missing information.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct campaign and account QA reviews using established agency checklists.
- Verify campaign settings, budgets, URLs, tracking parameters, naming conventions, creative assets, and landing pages.
- Test website forms, phone links, and other customer conversion paths to identify potential issues.
- Support compliance with agency SOPs, approval requirements, and applicable client or partner standards.
Website & General Marketing Support
- Complete routine website content updates, including banners, promotional messaging, images, links, and other approved changes.
- Support Google Business Profile, review-page, YouTube, and other digital-presence updates as assigned.
- Conduct basic competitor, market, demographic, and digital-presence research.
- Assist with other recurring marketing and department support activities based on client and team needs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and shared documentation tools.
- Foundational understanding of digital marketing, advertising, websites, analytics, and reporting.
- Ability to follow established processes, checklists, documentation standards, and approval requirements.
- Ability to recognize when an issue requires escalation or additional direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of digital marketing, marketing operations, project coordination, internship, or agency experience.
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, GA4, or related advertising and analytics platforms.
- Experience with website content management systems, Google Business Profile, CRM, call-tracking, or reporting platforms.
- Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Automotive or multi-location marketing experience.
- Google, Meta, Microsoft, analytics, or related digital marketing certifications.
Success Metrics
- Accurate and timely completion of assigned projects and recurring responsibilities.
- Consistent visibility into client budget pacing and timely escalation of potential issues.
- Accurate and on-time preparation of reporting materials and supporting documentation.
- Reduction in preventable campaign, website, and reporting errors through effective QA.
- Consistent adherence to agency processes, SOPs, and approval requirements.
- Reliable support of Digital Marketing Specialists, Account Executives, and department leadership.
- Demonstrated growth in digital marketing knowledge and ability to complete increasingly complex responsibilities with less supervision.
