We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Real Estate Accountant to join our team. This position will play a key role in managing the financial performance of our real estate holdings and ensuring accurate reporting.
Responsibilities
- Handle all accounting functions related to property management, including accounts payable/receivable, rent collections, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for real estate assets.
- Maintain accurate records of leases, tenant accounts, and property expenses.
- Manage budgets, cash flow reports, and forecasting for multiple properties.
- Work closely with property managers and ownership to provide financial insight and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and local reporting requirements.
- Assisting property manager and rental clerk with day to day operations and interacting with tenants.
Qualifications.
- Bachelor degree in accounting or 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
- Knowledge of real estate accounting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, familiar with Buildium a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Bilingual a plus
