Into The Palms and Palm Studio are looking for a creative, organized and dependable Studio, Social Media & Events Assistant to join our growing fashion and personal styling business. This paid part-time internship is ideal for a student interested in fashion, marketing, communications, social media, events, e-commerce or entrepreneurship.
This is a hands-on role – not a traditional desk internship. You will work directly with the owner and gain real experience across content creation, event planning and execution, e-commerce and order fulfillment, merchandising, client experience and day-to-day small-business operations.
The position will primarily work from our studio at Station House in St. Petersburg, with regular local driving for shipping and errands and occasional trips to our Safety Harbor home office to pick up merchandise or supplies.
What You’ll Do
Studio + E-Commerce Operations
· Assist with day-to-day operations of Into The Palms and Palm Studio
· Manage and coordinate scheduling for styling appointments, events and studio activities
· Package and prepare online customer orders for shipment
· Make regular post office or shipping runs to ensure orders are shipped promptly
· Organize merchandise, supplies, styling materials and inventory
· Help prepare the studio for client appointments and shopping experiences
· Pick up merchandise or supplies from our Safety Harbor home office as needed
· Assist with administrative projects and other small-business operations
Social Media + Content
· Create photos, short-form videos, Reels, Stories and other social content
· Capture behind-the-scenes content in the studio and at events
· Assist with planning and scheduling social media posts
· Brainstorm creative content that reflects the Into The Palms and Palm Studio brands
· Stay aware of social media trends and identify ideas that make sense for the brands
Events + Client Experience
· Assist with planning Palm Studio events, pop-ups, private shopping experiences and brand activations
· Coordinate event details, vendors, supplies and guest logistics
· Help with event setup, onsite execution and breakdown
· Help create an elevated, welcoming experience for clients and guests
Who We’re Looking For
· A high school senior, college student or other early-career candidate interested in fashion, marketing, communications, events, entrepreneurship or a related field
· Organized, dependable and comfortable working independently
· Creative and comfortable creating social media content
· Friendly and professional when interacting with clients and event guests
· Detail-oriented and willing to handle both creative projects and hands-on operational work
· Proactive – someone who notices what needs to be done and jumps in
Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, Shopify or similar platforms is a plus, but not required.
Schedule
10-20 hours per week
The schedule can be flexible around school or college classes. However, regular weekday availability during business hours will be required on agreed-upon days for order fulfillment and post office/shipping runs. Some evening or weekend availability may be needed for special events, with advance notice whenever possible.
Location + Transportation
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
The role is primarily based at Station House in St. Petersburg. Local driving is a regular part of the position, including post office/shipping runs, business errands and occasional merchandise pickup from our Safety Harbor home office. Approved business mileage will be reimbursed.
