Location: Tampa, Florida — full-time, in-office attendance
About the opportunity
We are a hyperscaling direct-to-consumer telehealth business seeking a hands-on data and marketing analytics leader to turn fragmented information into clear insights that improve profitability and growth.
You will consolidate data across marketing, sales, subscriptions, payments, and customer operations; build reliable dashboards; and help leadership identify winning campaigns, generate more cash flow, increase customer lifetime value (LTV), and reduce customer acquisition cost (CPA). This is a builder role requiring direct work with raw data, queries, integrations, and reporting.
Organization wide partnership and leadership decision support
This role will work across the organization, partnering with marketing, finance, operations, technology, and customer experience teams to build a consistent view of business performance.
The Director will work closely with executive leadership on strategic direction and decision-making, translating data into clear recommendations on resource allocation, growth priorities, product and pricing strategy, customer retention, profitability, and cash flow. They will evaluate opportunities, quantify tradeoffs, and measure the impact of key business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Build a trusted data foundation. Connect, clean, reconcile, and consolidate data from advertising platforms, websites, CRM systems, subscription billing, payment processors, and operational partners.
- Create actionable dashboards. Build automated daily, weekly, and monthly reporting covering marketing performance, customer behavior, revenue, collections, and contribution margin.
- Identify winning campaigns. Analyze performance by brand, channel, campaign, creative, audience, offer, and landing page. Recommend where to increase investment, improve execution, or reduce spend.
- Improve acquisition economics. Diagnose CPA changes through advertising costs, click-through rates, conversion rates, and funnel performance. Partner with marketing to test improvements and measure results.
- Increase LTV and retention. Develop customer cohort reporting covering rebills, churn, failed payments, cancellation saves, bundle conversion, upsells, and email/SMS performance.
- Find cash flow opportunities. Quantify opportunities to improve collections, recover failed payments, increase repeat purchases, and optimize subscription and bundle offers. Distinguish cash collected from recognized revenue and contribution profit.
- Strengthen measurement. Reconcile platform-reported results with actual customers, orders, and payments. Establish consistent metric definitions and distinguish attributed performance from incremental growth.
- Guide business decisions. Partner with leadership and teams across the organization to assess growth opportunities, model financial outcomes, prioritize resources, and track whether decisions deliver results.
- Own reporting reliability. Establish data quality checks, documentation, and appropriate access controls so reporting remains accurate and dependable.
Required qualifications
- Significant experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, business intelligence, or a closely related field, with demonstrated ownership of commercial outcomes.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience using Python or comparable tools for data cleaning, transformation, and automation.
- Proven ability to combine multiple data sources using APIs, connectors, or ETL/ELT workflows.
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or a comparable platform.
- Strong understanding of paid acquisition, particularly Meta and Google, along with website conversion and CRM/lifecycle marketing.
- Experience analyzing CPA/CAC, LTV, retention, churn, customer cohorts, contribution margin, and acquisition payback.
- Ability to explain complex findings clearly and recommend practical actions to marketing, finance, operations, and executive teams.
- Willingness to personally build and maintain the analytics foundation and work from our Tampa office each workday.
Preferred experience
- Direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, subscription, or telehealth businesses.
- Multi-brand marketing and high-volume customer acquisition.
- Platforms such as GA4, Shopify, Attentive, and major payment processors.
- Data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Attribution, incrementality testing, forecasting, and customer segmentation.
Success in the first 90 days
- A documented inventory of core data sources and agreed definitions for key business metrics.
- A reliable, consolidated dashboard connecting marketing spend to customer acquisition, collections, retention, and contribution profit.
- Cohort reporting showing which campaigns and offers generate valuable, retained customers.
- A prioritized set of measurable opportunities to reduce CPA, increase LTV, and improve cash flow.
- A regular leadership reporting cadence with clear recommendations and accountable follow-through.
