Job Summary: Supports general business operations by providing various administrative support activities as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines in the Administrative Services Function. This position reports to the Sr. Vice President of HR and will have opportunity to closely work with other HR team members performing a variety of administrative and HR tasks to support the Human Resources Department. Essential Functions:
- Provides multi-faceted administrative support and assistance to ensure effective use of leadership’s time and productive interactions with staff and the public.
- Handles a wide range of administrative and support tasks and independently initiates and implements processes to manage projects, information, and people.
- Manages leaderships schedules, meeting preparations, follow-up tasks, and complex
- travel arrangements.
- Conducts research and information gathering on behalf of upper management and prepares summaries and reports.
- Develops positive and strategic relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Uses discretion, judgment, and knowledge of the organization to facilitate leadership’s activities and maintain confidentiality.
- May be responsible for directing and deploying support staff or other resources.
- Manages SVP’s calendar and schedules meetingsCoordinates event logistics such as facilities, catering, invitations, speakers, & budgetSupports HR projectsPrepares SVP’s meetings including agendas, notices, & minutesMonitors and maintains business unit documents & recordsPrepares and files legal documents with government agenciesManages complex travel plans & itineraries and completes expense reports
- Required education and experience: Associate’s Degree and 2-4 years’ experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor’s Degree
- Discipline/Major: Business or related discipline preferred.
