The Home Depot hiring hundreds in Tampa and St. Pete

The Home Depot plans to hire 700 people in the Tampa Bay area in the coming months.
The company, which has more than 2,000 retail stores across North America, announced Tuesday that it will be adding to its 400,000 employees, hiring across all positions including sales, cashiers, operations and online order fulfillment.
Opportunities will include both permanent part-time and seasonal positions in the company’s stores, and college students, retirees and veterans are being encouraged to apply.
In fiscal 2017, The Home Depot had sales of $100.9 billion and earnings of $8.6 billion.
