About the Role:

The Accounts Payable Specialist I is an entry level position that compiles and maintains accounts payable records and processes vendor invoices for payment. This role is open to fully remote work options.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process 1000-2000 vendor invoices/mo. utilizing company workflow guidelines.
  • Receive invoices via email, distribute emails to the appropriate destination and manage the Accounts Payable inbox.
  • Responsible for AP record keeping by scanning all payable invoices into ePacket.
  • Receive against PO and enter AP invoices in the Accounting System.
  • Follow up on invoicing issues – Issues with orders and/or invoices which are sent to Order Manager.
  • Process all payables internal payables, etc.
  • Assist in monthly closings.
  • Assist with audits and special projects as necessary.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking for:

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (OS navigation, Outlook, basic knowledge of Excel)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate computers, related and general office equipment
  • Strong customer service skills. Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to understand verbal/written instructions
  • Perform basic math skills
